The Sacramento Kings claimed forward Travis Outlaw with an amnesty bid.
Outlaw was waived Thursday by the New Jersey Nets, who used their one-time amnesty provision to rid themselves of the remaining four years and $28 million of his contract.
The 27-year-old Outlaw averaged 9.2 points and four rebounds while playing all 82 games in his lone season with New Jersey.
