Rajon Rondo was just about knocked out when the Heat assaulted him on his way to the basket last night, guess what the NBA referees didn’t see it of course. The Celtics lost game two to the Heat in overtime. Rondo played a huge game scoring 44 points and he could have had more if he learned how to play the crying game like LeBron James plays. No one in the NBA cries to the refs more than LeBron James does. Rondo was clearly fouled a couple of times and the refs just let it go.

The Celtics need to watch the game film and teach Rondo how to act like James does. Crying to the refs works for James, it cold end up helping Rondo and the Celtics too if they can get him to catch on quickly. The Refs in the games in Miami have certainly looked one-sided and it isn’t looking like they are on the side of the Boston Celtics. At one point in the game Rondo darn near had his head handed to him as he was on his way to the Basket. How the refs can’t see these assaults taking place is anyone’s guess.

The series now move to Boston for game three and the Celtics need a win to avoid going down 3-0. If the Celtics could only get some fair calls the out comes in these two games could be just a bit different. Not to say it would have been enough in-game one, but last night it clearly could have helped the Celtics to just get a fair shot at a win.

Killer crossover drops LeBron James Jr.

Sure, we could go with a “Like father, like son” reference here, but I have no idea if the play in question when LeBron James, Jr. gets crossed up and dropped to the floor by an opponent’s killer crossover occurred during crunch time in the fourth quarter. (rim shot) LeBron, Jr, 7, who by all [...]

A few reasons not to panic after Boston’s Game 1 loss

So many things went wrong yesterday for the Boston Celtics, spanning from their inability to rebound, to Ray Allen’s continued struggles, to Ed Molloy’s quick technical foul whistle, to Miami’s overwhelming athleticism, at least the latter of which doesn’t figure to change at any point during the series. One aspect of yesterday’s game which Boston can count on to change...

Celtics Lead Heat 55-42 at Halftime

The Celtics lead the Heat 55-42 at the half despite a furious 16-point first quarter from LeBron James. James went 7-for-12 in the first, but got into foul trouble in the second quarter that limited him to only 4 points. Rajon Rondo got back to facilitating constant ball movement with seven assists leading to 15 [...]

LeBron James Laughs in KG’s Face

LeBron is just being LeBron here. Here he is laughing in KG’s face as the Miami Heat took down the Celtics in Monday’s showdown in Miami. It isn’t easy to get under KG’s skin, but I’m fairly sure he won’t be forgetting this anytime soon. via Rant Sports Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

Overblown NBA Conspiracy Theories Obscuring Rajon Rondo's Quest to Keep Celtics' Season Alive (Podcast)

Are the refs giving away the Eastern Conference Finals to LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat? Is David Stern rigging the lottery to make sure the NBA-owned New Orleans Hornets land Anthony Davis? Both of those thoughts appear to be prevalent among many NBA fans, but just because people believe it doesn't mean it's true. Despite Rajon Rondo's monster performance...

Lebron James blows easy dunk in game two against Celtics (Video)

The Miami Heat currently lead their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Boston Celtics by tw games to nothing after a 115-110 overtime victory in game two. Lebron James had another solid game with 34 points but his most dubious moment came in the first quarter when he blew a wide-open dunk:

Helpin’ the Heat!

LeBron James and the Miami Heat got some help from referees in Game 1 against Boston.I’m sorry Eye On Sports NBA fanatics, but seeing the referees ‘help’ the Miami Heat to their convincing 93-79 win over the aging Boston Celtics, didn’t sit very well with me – eve if it’s not the first time I’ve seen the refs give LeBron James and Dwyane Wade some additional help....

Celtics 101, Heat 91

Kevin Garnett had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Rajon Rondo scored 21 points with 10 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 101-91 victory over the Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night, cutting Miami's lead in the series to 2-1. Game 4 is Sunday night in Boston. LeBron James scored 34 points but the NBA MVP and the rest of the Heat went cold during...

Bosh may be closer, and Heat show a need in Game 3

LeBron James has had too many nights like this, where he couldn't get enough help for long stretches of the game. It's just that most of them were back in Cleveland. With a quiet first half from Dwyane Wade and little contributions from any other starter, James' 34 points were wasted in a 101-91 loss Friday night that cut the Miami Heat's lead over the Boston Celtics...

Celtics suffer heartbreaking loss to Heat, down 0-2

In what was an extremely entertaining game, the Celtics eventually fell 115-111 in overtime to the Heat Wednesday night in Miami. The Celtics held a 15-point lead in the first half, before the Heat outscored the Celtics 35-22 in the third quarter to take a 6-point lead entering the fourth. The Celtics came storming back and held a 5-point lead midway through the quarter, but the...

NBA players tweet on "rigged" Lottery results

Is it me or does it seem that the NBA powers that be don't care one bit that a LARGE amount of fans think the league is WWF rigged. I mean I wasn't the only one predicting that the Hornets would just happen to get the #1 pick after the NBA owned team happened to recently find a buyer willing to meet the league's steep asking price right? Then you have the free throw...

Got an issue with the refs? Do something about it

We’ve all had problems in our lives. We either accept them, complain about them, which accomplishes nothing, or we hit them head on and resolve them. That’s the decision Celtics fans, for that matter all NBA fans, face when it comes to the quality of officiating in what’s marketed as the world’s greatest basketball league. LeBron James took almost as many free throws...
