Coming into the playoffs, the first round matchup between the Bulls and Sixers seemed to be a lock for the city of Chicago.

The NBA's #1 seeded team was expected to run all over the Sixers who, down the stretch in the second half of the season struggled mightily.

Fast forward to the Sunday afternoon of May 6th and you'll see the Philadelphia 76ers with a commanding 3-1 series lead over the injury ridden Chicago Bulls.

Sunday's 89-82 win over the Rose and Noah-less Bulls was a statement win for this Sixers squad. After losing Game 1 to Chicago, they've rolled off 3 straight victories and are now poised to eliminate a championship favorite in Game 5 on Tuesday.

QUICK HITS From Game 4's 89-82 Sixers Win:
  • Spencer Hawes had by far his best playoff performance with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and an assist. He carried the Sixers through the beginning part of Game 4.
  • Almost as impressive was Jrue Holiday, who registered yet another 20 point performance in these playoffs. He also had 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
  • Andre Iguodala led the team with 12 boards and finished with 14 points, which was 3rd best on the team.
  • After outscoring the Bulls 24-15 in the 1st quarter, the Sixers were outscored and held to 20 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters before pulling away in the 4th.
  • The Chicago Bulls are a very pround team, and despite having Derrick Rose out of the lineup and now star center Joakim Noah for an undisclosed period of time, look for them to put up a fight in Game 5.

The series shifts back to Chicago for a 9:30pm start on Tuesday. #showyaluv
