The Sixers did not start this contest well as they were down 11 after the first quarter. By halftime the Sixers were able to get back in the game to end the half down 3. The second half was a different story as the Magic was able to maintain control and dish out a 95-85 loss at home. Dwight Howard was the highlight of the night throwing down a ferocious alley-opp dunk on Jrue Holiday. Howard finished the game with 19 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks. Ryan Anderson was strong off the bench scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds to get a double double. Jameer Nelson had a good night with 19 points and 7 assist playing in front of the hometown crowd. For the Sixers, Elton Brand scored 22 points. Jrue Holiday had a double double scoring 15 points and dropping 11 assist. Andre Iguodala did not play due to a sore knee. Lou Williams was also out still recovering from an injured hamstring.
