Every morning, we'll give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day. 1: Miami advances The Miami Heat are not a perfect team, but they have certain advantages that, when opportunities to exploit them are presented, make them virtually unbeatable. One of those opportunities comes when you turn the ball over against them, and the Pacers did that last night. A lot. Miami scored 26 points off 22 Pacers turnovers and ran away with Game 6 in the closing minutes to take their Semi-Final series 4-2. There was just too much LeBron and Wade (especially Wade, more on that shortly), and too many mistakes. The Pacers could never establish their biggest (literally) advantage in Roy Hibbert, and that proved costly. Hibbert was the one Pacer for whom Miami had no answer... that is, once he got the ball. Now Miami waits for Philadelphia and Boston to settle things tomorrow. The smart money is on an easy trip to the NBA Finals no matter what, since Philadelphia...

Can LeBron, Wade keep soaring higher?

INDIANAPOLIS We're getting to see how high two guys can fly. With the Miami Heat down two games to one a few days ago, old man Dwyane Wade got five years younger. LeBron James did everything, even became a closer. It was surely among the greatest three-game playoff stretches for two teammates in NBA history. And the Heat eliminated Indiana Thursday night, 105-93 in Game 6 to...

Dwyane Wade Leaves Indiana In A Pair Of Pink Pants

From Russell Westbrook’s fishin’ fit to Nick Young’s… ensemble, these playoffs have certainly produced their share of unthinkably-ridiculous fashion statements.  Pink pants, though?  Not even in the current day of skinny jeans and lens-less hipster specs have I come across any ball player brazen enough to leave his home wearing hot-pink, tight-fitting pantaloons.  And...

There was nothing soft about Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat. Wade scored 41 points, LeBron James chipped in 28 and the Heat finished off the Indiana Pacers, locking up a return trip to the Eastern Conference finals with a 105-93 victory in Game 6 on Thursday night. How Long can LeBron James & Dwyane Wade Keep up the Pace For the Heat?

Well, it looks like the Miami Heat is moving on in the NBA play-offs due to the fact LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were able to elevate their play to get past the Indiana Pacers last night. Both Wade and James showed a lot of heart in the last two games of the series. Wade had to have his knee drained to be able to compete at the level one would expect and James got a little banged...

Dwyane Wade, LeBron James too much for Indiana Pacers

In the end — after so many twists and turns that changed a lot of opinions — the result of this Eastern Conference Semifinal series was what many expected. The Miami Heat closed out the Indiana Pacers 105-93 Thursday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse to win the series in six games and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight year. The Pacers opened eyes during...

Heat resting up before return to East finals

Dwyane Wade has been battling knee soreness. LeBron James was hobbling after a falling into a courtside cameraman. Chris Bosh remains sidelined indefinitely with an abdominal strain. Mike Miller looks to be in agony whenever he moves. An extra day of rest doesn't sound like much, but it means plenty right now to the Miami Heat. Now halfway to their goal of an NBA championship...

Miami Heat Eliminate Indiana Pacers With Dwyane Wade, LeBron James Back On Top of Their Games

After stellar performances by the Miami Heat in the last three games, specifically from LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, did they prove that they are in it to win it in 2012? Game three of the Heat-Pacers series was a game the Heat would like to forget. With their star players struggling, plus the injury to Chris Bosh, it seemed that this series was becoming more winnable for the...

Miami Heat sends Pacers packing in Game 6

INDIANAPOLIS –For two games, the Pacers felt as if they had the answers. In their mind they had solved the riddle of how to beat the Miami Heat consistently. Part one of the formulas was to find away to remove Chris Bosh from the mix. Part two was to get inside of Dwyane Wade’s head and limit his numbers. Part three was…wait there was no real part three because as we have...

Heat eliminate Pacers in 6 games

Not happy that I finally got a series prediction right. The Miami Heat just eliminated the Indiana Pacers in 6 games (105-93 in game 6), as I had predicted, but boy was the journey completely unexpected. At the end of the day, you can say all you want about the Heat -- but they were simply better. There is simply no substitute for talents like Lebron James and Dwyane Wade. You can...

Heat 105, Pacers 93

INDIANAPOLIS -- The nightmare that had been a 2-1 series deficit a week earlier turned into a ticket to the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday night for the Miami Heat. Shorthanded, but armed with plenty of Dwyane Wade's playoff best, the Heat pushed past the Indiana Pacers 105-93 Thursday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The victory, played in the suspension absence of...

Video: Dwyane and Lebron Clicking At the Right Time

In Sunday night’s Game 4 win against the Indiana Pacers it was Lebron James scoring 40 points for the Miami Heat. Last night it was James’ partner in crime, Dwyane Wade scoring 41 points to close out the series win. These two superstars are playing the best basketball of their careers and they’re using each other to perfection. The timing for Lebron, Dwyane and the Heat couldn’t...
