July 2nd, 2007 STEPHEN JACKSON TO BE CUTTING GRASS, DOING DISHES IN HAUGHVILLE From the Indy Star: Ex-Indiana Pacer Stephen Jackson's community service duties as part of a plea deal could include mowing grass or cleaning the kitchen at a Westside community center. Jackson, 29, has agreed to plead guilty to criminal recklessness for firing a gun into the air during an October melee outside a Westside strip club. In return for no jail time, the Golden State guard will pay a $5,000 fine and work 100 hours at the Christamore House, according to a plea agreement filed in Marion Superior Court. Judge Patricia Gifford still must accept the deal for it to become official. On Wednesday, Jackson is scheduled to enter his guilty plea and be sentenced. Prosecutors and Olgen Williams, the Christamore House's executive director, said Jackson's time won't be spent helping at a basketball camp. The center, 502 N. Tremont St., doesn't have...
