With another double-digit scoring performance on Sunday afternoon in the Knicks’ 106-99 win over the Suns, Steve Novak is getting back into his old ways again. Over the last five games, the sharpshooter has helped his team to a 4-1 record, averaging 12 points on 55% from deep over the stretch.Currently sitting at 12-4, New York is quickly emerging as one of the stronger teams in the league, and there’s no doubt Novak plays a big role in the way they hit opponents with a balanced attack each and every night. After becoming an instant fan-favorite last season due to the boost he provided the Knicks with off the bench, the forward is happy to have stuck around for the long haul. He, along with swingman J.R. Smith and Knickerbocker legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier all took part in a meet and greet event for the fans this past weekend through Steiner Sports. The celebrated memorabilia company provides basketball fans with great exclusives each and every season, but with New York rising atop o...

Novak: Melo Is Best In The League Right Now

Steve Novak has some high praise for Melo.credit: img.spokeo.com Carmelo Anthony has found out that the New York fans and media will be the first to boo him when he plays poorly, and the first to applaud him when he is playing well. Unfortunately for him, until this year, he had received more criticism than applause in his time as a Knick. So far this year, the Knicks have been a...

'Melo denies three-point celebration is gun related

After Carmelo Anthony's 34 points burned the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon, New York Daily News writer Mitch Lawrence took a shot at the New York Knicks forward by saying his three-point celebrations looked like he was pointing a gun to his head and was a bad image for the player and the game. Lawrence wrote: "Here was Carmelo Anthony draining four 3-pointers against...

Rasheed Wallace Gets Ejected For Yelling “Ball Don’t Lie” (Video)

The New York Knicks are an improved team this season, but one of the biggest reasons I enjoy watching them is because of Rasheed Wallace. Wallace is good money and he proved it again on Sunday when the Knicks squared off against the Phoenix Suns. Wallace already technical against him after he had some post-whistle [...]The post Rasheed Wallace Gets Ejected For Yelling “Ball Don’t...

Suns look to change fortunes vs. Knicks

The New York Knicks have lost two of three to the Phoenix Suns since Amare Stoudemire joined the team, but figure to be in good position to win the next matchup even without him. The Knicks can improve to 7-0 at home Sunday when they try to hand the Suns a third straight loss. Stoudemire remains out due to his persistent knee problems so he won't be able to help New York (11...

New York Knicks Targeting a Christmas Return for Amar’e Stoudemire

The New York Knicks are off to a fast start this season. They are 12-4 and have their sights on winning the Atlantic Division. However, they’ve played the entire season thus far without one of their best players. Amar’e Stoudemire has been out healing from a knee surgery to remove a cyst. Raymond Felton Suffers Bone Bruise

The good news is it’s not his shooting hand, but it’s near his thumb nonetheless. Word is he’s going to play regardless this Wednesday against the Bobcats. Reports are also coming out stating that Jason Kidd will also make his return but off the bench. We shall see tomorrow. “It’s going to be tough, but I’m going to play.”  – Raymond Felton

Carmelo Anthony & Kevin Durant named conference Players of the Week.

Arguably the leagues two best scorers were on their respective games.

Raymond Felton: Day to Day

Knicks cannot lose Felton or any player on this team for a long period of time, especially with Jason Kidd out with back spasms. Felton is a tough guy, so let’s see if he bounces back for Wednesday’s game. #bbpBox_275375087711047680 a { text-decoration:none; color:#F57F25; }#bbpBox_275375087711047680 a:hover { text-decoration:underline; }An MRI of Raymond Felton's left hand...

Knicks-Bobcats Preview

Carmelo Anthony isn't ignoring the MVP chants he's been hearing lately, but he also realizes they're a bit premature given the New York Knicks have plenty of season remaining. He sure didn't look like an MVP the last time he faced the Charlotte Bobcats. New York faces a stretch of three road games in four nights and looks to get off to a good start by sending Charlotte...

New York Knicks Unbeaten at Home, But Struggle on the Road

Photo by Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE To be the best of the best, you must win where it counts–on the road. Despite a 8-0 record at home, Mike Woodson’s team presents a 4-4 stance away from Madison Square Garden. In this early stage of the 2012-13 season, there should be no shock that the Knicks sit on top of the NBA Eastern Conference standings due to their strength of schedule...
