The Phoenix Suns today signed unrestricted free agent and former Arizona State University guard Eddie House to a two-year contract.
The five-year NBA veteran averaged 5.8 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists, and posted career highs in field goal percentage (.451) and three-point field goal percentage (.454) in 68 games combined with Charlotte, Milwaukee and Sacramento last season.
The 6-1, 175-pound guard averaged 5.8 points and 1.4 assists in 50 games with the Kings after he was claimed off waivers on January 7, 2005. Prior to that, he averaged 3.2 points and 1.0 assists in five games for Milwaukee before his release on January 5. House opened the 2004-05 season with Charlotte, averaging 11.1 points, 1.8 assists and 1.85 steals in 13 games for the expansion franchise.
