TEAMS: Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns

When LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers’, or Daniel Gibson as it would be, decided to part ways two years ago, it was far from amicable. Both sides refused to take the higher ground and a vicious twitter war ensued, where they both said things that I am sure they now regret. However, this move immediately left Cleveland at the bottom of the league, ultimately giving them the first overall selection in this past year’s draft. The team grabbed former Duke point guard Kyrie Irving to be the new leader of the offense, as he has quickly transitioned to the NBA style of play.
Irving has started every game from day one and has showed improvement with each passing day. He has no problems taking the ball from coast-to-coast, giving head coach Byron Scott a new fast-break offense to experiment with. Irving is currently averaging 18.9 points, 3.3 boards, and 4.9 assists per game, while providing the team with a true identity on the offensive side of the ball. . He has...

Video: Barkley makes fun of LeBron's hair
Of all the things LeBron James gets hammered for, this is one of the very few he literally cannot help. Charles Barkley and Shaq aren’t the first two guys to be entertained by LeBron’s receding hairline, and they won’t be the last. As much as Sir Charles typically annoys me, I have to admit this particular bit had me laughing.
Poor LeBron. Yeah, I said it. It...
Cavs/Magic Preview: Can Kyrie Irving add Dwight Howard to his list of victims?
Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving has been carving up opposing big men as if he arrives to Quicken Loans Arena along side a giant blue ox.
A spin-move off of Al Jefferson, a cross-over of Marcin Gortat and a high-pick split of the Boston Celtics defense which featured a 6-foot-8-inch Brandon Bass are moves that headline the first chapter of the first-overall pick’s career...

LeBron, Wade just can't beat the Bucks
MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- If the Miami Heat could stop matching up with the Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James and company might really be able to get on a roll.Miami has won eight of its last 10 games, but both of those losses came against the 10-11 Bucks, and for the second time in 10 days, Milwaukee found a way to slow down the NBA's second highest-scoring team. On Wednesday night, the...
Charles Barkley Makes Fun of LeBron James' Receding Hairline During NBA On TNT
News flash: LeBron James is balding. Charles Barkley, who has not held back whatsoever from criticizing LeBron in the past, detailed the recession of LeBron's hairline (and headband) perfectly with a demonstration on TNT last night. (Don't miss Ernie Johnson's "oh ****, do I look like that too?" look at the 20-second mark.)
While others are defending...

Ten Biggest NBA Draft Busts Of The Last Decade
The NBA Draft has long been overrated for its ability to change franchises with a simple selection. It is very rare nowadays that a top selection can project that team into a championship contender within the first few years (the few that come to mind, Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Tim Duncan). In any draft, holding [...]
The Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, other contenders sprinkle their schedule with odd losses
During this lockout shortened season in 2012, the Miami Heat boast a 16-6 record thus far. Despite a solid (but empty) playoff debut for the Miami Thrice of SG Dwyane Wade, SF LeBron James, and PF Chris Bosh. The Miami Heat blasted their way through the Eastern Conference before meeting their demise at the hands of the lights out hot shooting Dallas Mavericks.
Perhaps the biggest...
What The Bucks?
The most mystifying sub-.500 team in the NBA this year is surely the Milwaukee Bucks, who knocked off the Heat for the second time in little over a week on Wednesday night. (If you are mystified by the Knicks being under .500, you know less about basketball than anyone should ever admit).
Milwaukee won 105-97 on Wednesday despite 40 points from LeBron James, 24 of which came in the...
