You can follow Zach on Twitter @zd183.**The fans have been pouring on the boo's, calling for D'Antoni's head after the disappointing 102-93 loss to the Magic and the resulting 3-game skid. In fact, this had to be considered one of the team's "better losses." New York, with their best player in Carmelo Anthony playing through the pain, outplayed the Magic for 3 quarters. Almost everyone is panicking, but the season is still young. The Knicks have been playing poorly of late, and yet they are only one win under .500. For starters, their defense has been tough and unrelenting. The traps are often daunting, and unlike in the past, help defense is usually there. Just a few years removed from the laughingstock of the league with center David Lee anchoring the defense, Mike D'Antoni (and assistant coach Mike Woodson) currently has his team sitting at 11th in defensive effi...

Knicks Let One Slip Away In Loss to Magic
When the Knicks lost to the Thunder on Saturday, there were plenty of excuses to made. The team was without leading scoring Carmelo Anthony, and were also the visiting squad in Oklahoma City. Moreover, the Thunder stood at 10-2 going in the matchup. All these things considered, the Knicks and their fans could justify the loss, for a change.Unfortunately, none of those things applied...
Suns face off with D'Antoni, Knicks in New York
Mired in a horrible shooting funk, a game against a Phoenix Suns team that has been unable to slow down anyone lately could be what the New York Knicks need to get their offense in gear.

Ailing Anthony attempting to play through pain
Carmelo Anthony is shooting 42.7 percent from the floor, partly because he is dealing with a sprained right ankle and trying to dribble and shoot with a sore left wrist. It sounds like the pain in the wrist is going to linger for long enough that, rather than rest...
Knicks Cannot Slow Down Magic, Fall 102-93; Lose Third Consecutive Game
The New York Knicks played a solid opening period and made it an emphasis to limit easy looks for Dwight Howard. The Knicks were also closing out on the Magic’s shooters and forced them to take tough shots. On top of that, Carmelo Anthony made an unexpected return to the lineup and gave the Knicks instant offense.
Rookie Iman Shumpert was less assertive on the offensive end...

Knicks a losing team with Melo
It’s not complicated.
Since the celebrated Carmelo Anthony trade 11 months ago, the New York Knicks have won 20 regular-season games and lost 21.
That doesn’t sound so great, but it gets worse:
The Knicks also lost four straight in the playoffs, winning none.
The Knicks didn’t get Chris Paul. Many fans and observers believed getting Melo put the Knicks closer...

Amar’e Stoudemire Accepts Total Blame for Knicks’ Loss to Magic
New York suffered yet another humiliating loss at home yesterday afternoon, and Amar’e Stoudemire (10 points, a ghastly 2 boards, and foul trouble) said the defeat was his fault. Per the NY Post: “Stoudemire said he was to blame for yesterday’s Martin Luther King Day matinee fizzle, a 102-93 loss to the Magic, because of his foul trouble. In truth, there’s plenty...
Melo and Knicks stuffed by Magic in matinee
With the Knicks pinning their hopes on their battered and bruised forward, Carmelo Anthony's attempt to beat the Orlando Magic all by himself fell painfully short, with emphasis on the word painful, in the 102-93 loss.
Thank You Garden of Dreams
This is what you get for $850 million dollars??? Madison Square Garden spent $850 million dollars to renovate the joint, and after taking a leak to drain myself of the $10 Blue Moon's they now serve, I get a broken soap dispenser and a sink with no running water. It was bad enough that I had to watch the Knicks lose to the Phoenix Suns, who had dropped five straight before...
Open Thread: Phoenix Suns vs. New York Knicks
It’s just madness in the Big Apple as it has become impossible to figure out which New York Knicks team is going to take the floor this season. Is it the team capable of handling the Philadelphia 76ers with ease or the team capable of losing to the Charlotte Bobcats with ease?
The good news is Carmelo Anthony is back, but clearly not playing at a 100 percent, but it...
Amar’e Stoudemire Wishes He Was on the Olympic Team
Amar’e Stoudemire was left off the 20-man Team USA roster for the 2012 Olympics, and the Knicks’ big man is not exactly thrilled about it.
