OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- LeBron James scored 32 points and hit the clinching free throws with 7 seconds left, Dwyane Wade added 24 points and the Miami Heat claimed home-court advantage in the NBA Finals by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-96 in Game 2 on Thursday night. The Thunder stormed back from a 13-point, fourth-quarter deficit and had a chance to tie it on Kevin Durant's 7-footer along the left baseline with 10 seconds left. James provided the defense on the shot and rebounded the miss before getting fouled and hitting two clutch free throws. Durant finished with 32 points and Russell Westbrook had 27 but the Thunder weren't able to overcome a double-digit deficit. The series is tied at a game apiece heading into Game 3 on Sunday night in Miami.

Jest Kills It With ‘LeBron James Home Movies’

Jest.com is always on point when they cover sports, but this clip of LeBron James developing his talents (and bad habits) at an early age might be the funniest thing they’ve ever done. 1994 LeBron taking his talents to Peter’s team and dribbling forever only to pass at the buzzer are funny enough, but the joke about not being able to be Michael Jordan in NBA Jam is so good...

LeBron hoping to make up for last year

LeBron James has been criticized his whole career for not stepping up when it really matters. That’s the price you pay when some call you the best in the world. His constant disappearing acts down the stretches of big games have now become part of his calling card. Last year’s NBA Finals was no exception. James didn’t play to the level he’s capable of and the Heat lost to...

Mike Tyson sings an ode to LeBron James

All you have to do is take one look at the picture above to understand what this is going to be. But what else can you expect when Mike Tyson is involved. [Slam]

Dwyane Wade: “I’m not that athletic as I was in 2006″

Generally speaking, it’s tough for athletes, especially ones of Dwyane Wade’s caliber to come to terms with the fact that they have lost a step. But in his case, it seems as if Wade, not only knows that he’s lost a little something, but he’s accepted it and understands that he can still be a great player. “I was 24 — totally different,” said Wade, 30. “I’m not...

Mike Tyson performs the beautifully touching “LeBron James” on Jimmy Kimmel (VIDEO)

NBA finals style wars: Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook vs. LeBron James & Dwyane Wade

Game 1 off the NBA finals went to the Thunder. But what about the OTHER battle, the fashion one? Russell Westbrook wore a shirt from the 2012 Prada spring collection and of course, personality frames. KD opted for a slim cut suit in black. King James opted for a color mash featuring a berry shirt, [...]

Game 1 of The NBA Finals brings back deja vu

Well, game one of the 2012 NBA Finals is in the book and the story brings back lots of memories. Unstoppable tonight. Look familiar? (Reuters) Of playoffs past. Of LeBron James. But I'm not talking about the false narrative (that I've never floated here) that he chokes in crunch time or can't ever win a championship. (Although I'll most likely go to my grave rooting...

Lax Heat attack needs correcting for Game 2

Miami came ready to play Tuesday night in Game One of the NBA Finals. The Heat jumped out to a 13-point lead and had everything going. They were forcing turnovers, they were getting out on the break and they were moving the ball. Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier were getting open shots and taking advantage of an Oklahoma City defense still getting its bearings. LeBron James...

Starting 5: OKC comes back vs. Miami's fizzle

Every morning, we'll give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day. 1:  OKC's big comeback You wouldn't see a re-incarnted Sun Tzu penning basketball strategies that include being down 13 at any point in an NBA Finals game, but the Thunder never quite seemed uncomfortable with their deficits in Game 1.  Like a battering ram taking a few...
