PLAYERS: Josh Smith
TEAMS: Miami HeatAtlanta Hawks
If you’ve been hesitant about taking the NBA League Pass plunge, tonight is as good an excuse as any to dive in. The defending champion Miami Heat visit the entertaining and better-than-advertised Atlanta Hawks in a match-up of Southeast Division rivals. And adding to tonight’s festivities will be rapper T.I., who will join Hawks broadcast duo Bob Rathbun and Duane Ferrell in the booth to provide color commentary. The Atlanta native is a regular presence on the sideline at Philips Arena — at least when he’s not serving out prison sentences — but this will be his first foray into the broadcast booth. He’s only expected to stay for two quarters, but hopefully the broadcasting bug bites and he sticks around a little longer. The game is being broadcast locally on FOX Sports South, so the only way to watch Tip comment on Josh Smith’s ill-advised 18-foot jumpers is to fork over the dough. via Deadspin Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

T.I. Will Provide Color Commentary During Tonight’s Hawks Game

Everyone, there’s been a change of plans: forget everything I said in this week’s “Games To Watch” post and tune in to Fox Sports South to watch the Heat take on the Hawks at 7:30 Eastern tonight.  Not because it’s going to be a good game (the way Miami has been playing lately, it’s kind of doubtful), but because Atlanta (t)rapper T.I. will be taking Dominique Wilkins’...

Spotted: TI, Monica & Ciara at Heat vs. Hawks

The Heat faced off against the Atlanta Hawks of Friday night – minus Dwyane Wade who was fighting a cold. I guess that’s why he had a box of tissue with him in the club Thursday night but I digress. This particular Hawks game featured TI acting as a color commentator during the first half [...]
