The Minnesota Timberwolves just recently got Ricky Rubio back.  He has been sidelined since February after he tore his ACL.  Now, he will be sidelined again.  Rubio is dealing with back spasms that will prevent him from traveling with the team on their upcoming road trip.Ray Richardson of the Pioneer Press says Rubio will miss the team's next two games but may be able to play Saturday when the team returns back to Minnesota.  Rubio sat out practice Monday and was limited to light shooting yesterday."He can get treatment the next three days and maybe be ready for Portland (Saturday night at Target Center)," coach Rick Adelman said of Rubio after Tuesday's practice. "This is something we don't need to push. We don't want something else to go haywire."Rubio provided an immediate spark for the Timberwolves upon his return this season.  However, he fell off quickly.  Rubio is playing limited minutes and still adjusting to being back on the court.  He is averaging 4.2 points per game and 4.0 assists per game this season. Rubio is in his second NBA season.  His long-awaited NBA debut came last year.  Rubio has averaged 9.9 points per game and 7.7 assists per game in his career.  He provides the Timberwolves with a true point guard and floor leader when he is healthy.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? Love combatting slump with hard work

MINNEAPOLIS As the clock ticked to zero on the Timberwolves' 111-107 win over Phoenix on Sunday, Kevin Love walked to the sideline and enveloped Shawn Respert in a hug. This wasn't just an "oh, hey, we won, let's hug" sort of embrace. That's hardly Love's style. It was a pointed move after the power forward finished the night with 23 points and 18...

Wolves Wednesday: A Kirilenko homecoming

MINNEAPOLIS It's where he learned to be a pro. It's where Jerry Sloan "created" him. It's where he has so many friends, so many acquaintances after 10 seasons that he thinks he might know everyone in the first 20 rows of the arena. It's where he learned English, "the bad words first, but then you're got that base, and you're playing around...
