The Celtics have released a photo on instagram of the new plates that will go on the Celtics lockers this season. The season is getting closer and closer. I'm getting more and more excited for it to start. A neat feature of the locker plates is that they feature the names of all the Celtics that wore the numbers before. I love that they put the former players on the nameplates...

Disturbing news today as it is being reported by The New York Post’s Peter Vescey that Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell has had two heart procedures performed on him in the last month.
This is certainly something to keep an eye on considering Russell’s age. He is 78 years old and he is the Celtics legend having won the most NBA Championships of any player in the league ever...
