Portland Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby was arrested by Pearland (Ore.) police on Monday and charged with possession of marijuana.
After Camby had agreed to a search of his Porsche in a Pearland school zone, police found "several" marijuana cigarettes and a bag of marijuana totaling less than two ounces hidden underneath the front seat, The Oregonian reported.
Both Camby, 37, and passenger Kendal Lance Johnson, 24, denied that the marijuana belonged to them. They were released after posting $2,000 bond.
If convicted, both could face up to a year in jail and $4,000 in fines.
Camby was originally pulled over because a sun screen device was blocking the front window, according to police.
