Anyone who has ever played the basketball game called “Horse” knows the importance of a trick-shot. Its your ace in the hole, your rabbit out of the hat. In other words, a trick-shot can save your life when competing in an intense game of horse. Yesterday, a video went viral of current NBA star Carmelo Anthony, and former Duke star Kyle Singler performing some ridiculous trick-shots. One was unintentional, while the other was thoroughly planned out. Check out the video below and let us know which one you think would win in a game of “horse”. D'Antoni regrets taking Knicks job

Current Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni says he regrets his decision to leave the Phoenix Suns in 2008 to coach the New York Knicks.

Knicks get the best of Bucks in early test

MILWAUKEE -- Carmelo Anthony drove to the basket for an easy layup in the second half and then glanced back at his defender with a giant smile. It was almost like his face read, "that was easy." It was just one of those nights for the Milwaukee Bucks. In a game that the Bucks could have made a statement on their home floor, they instead fell flat on their face. And for...

Carmelo Anthony gets lucky bounce on buzzer beater (Video)

In the crazy world of the NBA, sometimes lucky bounces turn into made baskets. Check out this offering from New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony who drains a three point with less than 1 second left on the shot clock in the second quarter of tonight's Knicks/Nets affair:

Knicks 102, Bucks 88

Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points to lead the New York Knicks to a 102-88 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. Anthony, who sat out the fourth quarter, was 9 of 18 from the floor and also grabbed eight rebounds in 30 minutes. The second-leading scorer in the NBA has scored at least 29 points in his last four games, including 35 points and 13 rebounds in a 96-89 overtime...

Anthony, Knicks ease past Bucks

MILWAUKEE -- Before his team hosted the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles wasn't shy about what the Bucks had to do in order to win their second consecutive game. In short, the Bucks had to find a way to keep Carmelo Anthony in check. The plan didn't work as well as Milwaukee had hoped. Anthony scored 29 points and pulled down eight rebounds...

Carmelo Anthony Back to Being Unstoppable Scorer, Which Could Be Bad News for Knicks

If Carmelo Anthony were to describe his game, he might sound a lot like Liam Neeson in Taken: “I have a very particular set of skills.” Anthony has been consistently great at one thing since he entered the league. He scores. Anthony has averaged at least 20 points per game in all 10 of his NBA seasons, and in his last three games, he has averaged 29.7 points. That could be very...

With Jason Kidd Sidelined, Knicks Drop the Ball in Brooklyn

Aside from the Knicks' own resident Brooklyn boy Carmelo Anthony, there was perhaps no other Knickerbocker looking forward to Monday's matchup with the Nets more than Jason Kidd. After being the leader of such New Jersey Nets squads that went head to head with the Knicks in the early 2000's, Kidd understands exactly what the rivalry is all about. He understands how much...

Knicks Bounce Back In Time To Rumble in Brooklyn With Nets

After losing back to back contests in rather frustrating fashion to both the Mavericks and Jeremy Lin's Rockets, the Knicks were in need of a redemption win. With the team set to charge into Brooklyn on Monday night to take on the Nets, a tune-up was necessary. The pressure is on to defeat the emerging local "rival" as it is, so it wouldn't help much if the Knicks...

Grinnell's Taylor finishes with 21 in loss

Jack Taylor's encore for his record-setting performance was OK, just nowhere near his previous game. Taylor scored 21 points, but Grinnell College lost 131-116 to William Penn on Sunday night. He was 6 for 21 from the field, making 3 of 13 attempts from 3-point range, in the first loss of the season for the Pioneers (3-1). Everyone from LeBron James to Carmelo Anthony was talking...

New York state of mind: The Nets host the Knicks tonight.

A rivalry renewed.

Knicks-Nets Preview

The Nets relocated to the New York Knicks' backyard, and were looking to start the season by showing off their new home to the neighbors. Superstorm Sandy put those plans on hold. After waiting for over three weeks, the Nets finally get to host the Knicks on Monday night in what is now an early season matchup between the two top teams in the Atlantic Division. The Nets'...
