It seems, according to HoopsWorld, that the Denver Nuggets and their starting point guard Ty Lawson (@TyLawson3 on twitter) are close to an extension. For the fourth year pro floor general, who was the 18th overall pick by the Minnesota Timber Wolves in the 2009 draft, could be close to a four year contract with the franchise from the Mile High city.Lawson, who did not play last night and according to Rotowire.com it was due to an elbow injury, believes that the extension should be done soon, as he commented…“I’m still confident,” Lawson said to HOOPSWORLD. “My agent is working with Masai Ujiri and Josh Kroenke so I feel like in the next couple of weeks something will get done.
