CJ Sports NASCAR Talk:
Just how serious is this injury? All Knick fans are holding their breath for the results on the MRI scheduled for today.
My first thoughts and my thoughts now haven’t changed: I have a bad feeling about this. It looked like his foot was planted and I thought it went slightly backwards, I am hoping I am wrong.
Chandler was interviewed after the game and he said he felt it stretch a little because his foot was planted; alarm bells went off instantly for me.
Now this might not be a season ending injury and it might only be a sprained knee, but carrying any sort of knee injury is not good news. If you remember back to last season, Shumpert was dealing with a knee injury at times throughout the year and when his knee had enough, it buckled.
The Knicks can’t take any chances here and in my opinion and they must bring in either Kenyon Martin or Chris Andersen pronto. I would give Wallace a contract based on his knowledge of the game and leadership qualities he showed during Nets game, but another able body is important. I understand he hasn’t played for a couple of years; however he can offer plenty to this team.

Of course you heard, the Knicks received good news yesterday. Tyson is day to day with a bruised knee. We can’t explain the importance to health for the 12/13 NY Knicks and it all starts with Tyson. Our minds have been pre-occupied with Amare, Camby, Brewer, Sheed, and Shump. Basically the whole team at some point was injured or held out of practice and games for some reason...

Earlier this offseason, Carmelo Anthony made a vow that he was tired of scoring 30 or 40 points on a nightly basis, and now had more of a focus on doing whatever it took to win games. If that took defending and rebounding, and only taking 12 shots, he would do it.
This is admirable for anyone who knows Melo’s game. He shoots a lot, but a lot of the time, he is very good at it...
Knicks 97-95 in a pre-season OT thriller.
First order of business is the injury to Tyson Chandler. Tyson, in the first minute of the game got his knee tangled up with a Brooklyn player and went down in pain. He got up and made his way to the locker room and his injury was listed as knee soreness, however, you never know with these kind of injuries and hopefully it is not worse...
