Yes the Utah Jazz collapsed to end the year and will be missing the playoffs , which is sad for their loyal fan base, but things are looking up for the Jazz starting this summer. The team has massive cap space, young players ready to take the next step and 2 first round draft picks, so this team will be very different next year. Long time staples of the franchise, their starting frontcourt and their two best offensive producers, Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap are now officially free agents, with the season over. With Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors two of the most promising young talents in the NBA, both Big Al and Millsap will probably not be back in Utah. Kanter and Favors have proven that they are capable and ready to be starters, both in limited minutes and with increased playing time. If they let both veteran big men leave, that clears over 20 million dollars off of their cap and with even more cap space waiting, they could be big players in free agency.
