Found August 08, 2013 on Celtics Life:
So I just stumbled across this and figured, hey, nothing else is going on, why not share it with the world? Or at least the slice of the world that reads our site. This was the intro video I created for our CelticsLife Live show awhile back. Of course, I was thinking that we could play it before the show started on the broadcast, no such luck! Maybe one day. Anyway, here it is in its current pointless state. Bet you can't guess all of the Celtics players that make an appearance!

Boston Celtics: The latest and greatest rumor talk

This off-season for the Celtics has been very interesting to say the least. Since early June, things have quieted down significantly, and this seems to be the team that the C’s are going to take into this season. With the roster being so bare this upcoming season, the Celtics have hardly any nationally televised games, and most fans will have to buy NBA league pass to watch their...

Robert Parrish: Rajon Rondo “has a talent for being difficult”

Robert Parrish was arguably the best center to ever slap on a Boston Celtics uniform. Like many retired players, when things got squirrely with his former team, Parrish spoke up about the transitions that the Celtics are going through. Parrish said that he is aware of the perception issue that exists about point guard Rajon Rondo. Please click here to read this story. The post...

The time is now for Jeff Green

It's put up or shut up time for Jeff Green. During Green's five-year career, he's always been seen as a player with superstar talent who has never quite lived up to his potential. Some of that criticism may be warranted as Green has yet to really breakout, but he's never been in the right situation to showcase his talents. In Oklahoma City, he was battling for touches...

Where We're Wrong to Criticize Kris Humphries

Boston – I’ll be the first to admit that, after the scuffle that took place between Rajon Rondo and Kris Humphries on November 28 of last year, I couldn’t stand the sight of the 28 year old Minnesota product, and for a number of reasons. First of all, the fisticuff resulted in the ejection of Rondo – among others – stopping his historical streak of 37-games with 10 assists...

Paul Pierce paints a rosy picture of the Celtics break-up

Adam Figman of SLAM Online interviewed Paul Pierce who spoke a lot about his transition to a new team and city, and a little bit about the Celtics: SLAM: I imagine the return to Boston will be pretty emotional. PP: Oh it’s definitely gonna be emotional. You spend almost half of your life in Boston, so a lot of emotions are gonna run deep, because of friends and the things you...

SQ13#54—The 2008 Champions Lacked Athleticism

Of the 15 man playoff roster taken into the 2008 Finals by the Boston Celtics only Rajon Rondo and Tony Allen were above average NBA athletes.  Now “average” NBA athlete is a pretty awesome superlative; but think about it, this Championship team ran slower and jumped lower than most of the teams they decimated in April, May, and June.  So just how did they beat the snot out...

Celtics’ Jared Sullinger cleared for basketball activities

The Boston Celtics cleared forward Jared Sullinger for full basketball-related activities last week, and the second-year pro told reporters – including Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe – that he expects to be ready by the start of training camp.Jared Sullinger said he was cleared for full basketball activity last week and should be ready by start of training camp #celtics—...

Boston Celtics: What They Should Have Received In Trade From Nets

Boston Celtics: What They Should Have Received In Trade From Nets By Jordan Van Beek: Hoopstuff Writer… The blockbuster trade on draft day between the Celtics and Nets wasn’t really fair for the Celtics. They got rid of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Jason Terry and D.J. White and got the expiring contract of Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace and his big contract, Keith Bogans, MarShon...

Paul Pierce will sit out Nets-Celtics preseason game in Boston

Paul Pierce suggested yesterday that he won't be making the trip to Boston for the Nets-Celtics preseason game on October 23rd, and will instead wait for the regular season to make an emotional return to the TD Garden. From ESPN Boston: Former Boston Celtics captain Paul Pierce hinted Thursday that he will attempt to avoid an exhibition matchup at TD Garden when the Brooklyn...

Your Morning Dump… Where Robert Parish has advice for Paul Pierce and hope for Rajon Rondo

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. So how’d that Hornets jersey feel? “Un-com-fortable,” Parish said. “In my mind, I would always be a Celtic. I was very thankful and humbled that the Hornets saw fit to allow me to play a couple more years...

Celtics Circuit: Revisiting Larry Bird and Kevin McHale Trade Proposals

Imagine if Larry Bird (33) and Kevin McHale (32) did not conclude their Hall of Fame careers with the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics made an unprecedented move in the history of their franchise this summer – they traded active legendary players. When President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge pulled the trigger on a deal to send Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry...

Pierce Views Trade From Celtics As 'Mutual Decision'

Paul Pierce doesn’t hold a grudge against Danny Ainge or the Boston Celtics ownership group in the wake of the trade that sent him to Brooklyn. "I understand they're a business. At the end of the day it's not about Paul Pierce. The Boston Celtics have a business to run, and [they're] going to be around a lot longer than I'm going to be able to play," Pierce...

Report: Paul Pierce Plans to Skip Nets’ Preseason Game Against Celtics, Make Boston Debut in Regular Season

Of the Celtics’ two preseason games scheduled to take place at TD Garden, one of them is against the Brooklyn Nets. But fans with tickets to the Oct. 23 exhibition contest should not expect to see their beloved Paul Pierce back on the parquet floor for the first time since this summer’s blockbuster trade. Pierce hinted in a radio interview on Thursday that he will skip the Nets’...

SQ13#53—The Basketball Space-Time Continuum

I had a hard time deciding on a name for this piece (also considered The Right Stuff and Coaches on the Floor) but finally settled on this one because of the rare “UU”—can you think of another word with a double u?  How about a word with three double letters in a row?  O.K., I’ve already wandered adrift and I haven’t even gotten started.  Reset, reset. Yesterday I...

SQ13#54—Offseason Improvement

Yesterday I talked about the difference between the burn to be great and the smolder to be mediocre.  That seems a perfect lead in to discuss some young Celtics with a real opportunity to dramatically improve.  It doesn’t mean that they will, but early signs are encouraging.  Every great player has come back the next fall with something new—physique, inside moves, extended...
