I have no opinion on the sexiness of Mickael Pietrus. However, he has been a breath of fresh air for a Celtics team that has been mired in mediocrity-at-best and is a far cry from the constant intensity of a guy like Kevin Garnett. Not to mention, the guy can ball. He's already shown his defensive prowess and his ability to hit big shots and it's clear that he isn't even 100 percent comfortable with the playbook. I love the signing more and more with each passing day.

Avery Bradley got his first start since April 2011 and made the most of it. Ray Allen’s shooting slump continues through the end of the week. The Boston Celtics Kevin Garnett Will Play Better
The stats of one Kevin Garnett tell a very grim story of how his season has gone. The once dominant player is averaging career lows in scoring with 13.3 points on only 46 percent shooting. He has had some foul shooting nights recently like his 5-19 performance against the Thunder, the 4-11 shooting against Dallas, and the 4-11 shooting against Chicago. The result has left many in...

Comments From the Other Side - Suns 1/20
Well, that wasn't fun. It's pretty funny though how a team with a 37 year old point guard and a 39 year old power forward can talk so much about the Celtics being old. I don't think it's age as much as it is the pieces not fitting and no strong presence in the paint. Here's today's Comments from the Other Side...
Rondo supposedly is out. Paul Pierce...
Enemy Chatter: KG didn't punch anyone in the testicles
I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here's a dose of 'enemy chatter' from Phoenix.
Kevin Garnett? Oh yeah, that guy. He was sort of a non-factor in 33 minutes, scoring 10 points, pulling down 5 boards, and logging a -9 (worst of all Celtics). But hey, he didn't punch anyone...
Celtics put forth a pathetic performance, fall to Suns 79-71
The Boston Celtics decided to use all of their momentum from their victory against Toronto on Wednesday to put up the biggest clunker of this short season. For the Celtics, that's really saying something.

Celtics Considering Trading Big 3 For Younger Players
In 2008, the Celtics were the hottest team in the NBA. Led by the Big 3 – Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett – the team won Boston its 17th championship.
The C’s continued to have success the next three years, but this year, not so much.
The Celtics are old and struggling, while every other team in the Eastern Conference is younger, winning and passing them by (Celtics...
Vote: Should Celtics Trade Paul Pierce?
The Big Three -- Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen -- brought a championship to Boston in their first season, and have kept the Celtics among the Eastern Conference's elite since joining forces in 2007. But with the C's sitting at 4-8, and each player continuing to get older, is it time for Danny Ainge to break up the unit and start fresh? Things certainly aren'...
Boston Celtics still sound confident
Fans are busy making plans for the Boston Celtics’ funeral. Danny Ainge is clearly disturbed by a 4-8 start that includes zero wins against the NBA’s top 27 teams. Opposing GMs smell enough blood in the water that they’re inquiring about Paul Pierce. John Hollingers says to blame Kevin Garnett. The Celtics have lost five straight games and nothing seems to come...
The Celtics are over the hill
This team is old and it is showing every game, the defensive is very slow in getting back and the offense is boring and dull, I think the other teams in the east have caught and passed us and we will struggle to make the playoffs and I do not see the future as being much brighter as this team gets even older.
Kevin Garnett(35) still has offensive skills at 13.5 ppg, 7.50...
