Once again, Tony Parker is doing things for the French that he refuses to do for the San Antonio Spurs. Late last week, the All-Star point guard was a participant in Boris Diaw's charity game in Bordeaux, France. The half time entertainment involved a bunch of kids shooting half court shots in an attempt to win a watch from Diaw (I don't get that part either). After several failed attempts, Parker decided to jump in and make some magic happen for one kid (H/T to Yahoo! Sports).
Parker took one step forward and drilled a half court shot, helping one youngster win a probably expensive watch from Diaw and his charity. Nice to see Parker doing something for the kids. It's also nice to not see the Rec-Specs Parker was wearing during the Olympics anywhere near this video. But seriously, Tony, save some of that magic for the NBA season. Didn't you hear the Lakers have assembled at team that's going to win 80 games?!?! Check out Parker's awesome trick s...

The last time we saw San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker on the court, he was playing for Team France at the 2012 Olympics and more recently, hitting half-court shots. But if you are aching to see more of TP hitting the hardwood then you're in luck.
In case you don't know, Parker is the spokesman for French fast-food restaurant, QUICK, and even cut a video for the...
Must be nice to be a highly paid, NBA star like San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker who gets to travel the world in the offseason.
Recently, TP was seen in the desert hitching a ride in a dune buggy (which might not sit well with Spurs fans and coaching staff) and getting a snapshot of him next to a camel. But now it seem his world tour of exotic places continue as he hit...
What would you do with millions of dollars?
There are way too many ways to answer this question. I would never work again and spend the rest of my life playing poker every day. Other people would buy nice cars, house, boats, etc.
A lot of women would probably say, “I’d have so many nice pairs of shoes.” Those women are not alone.
San Antonio Spur Stephen Jackson has invested...
San Antonio Spurs' Danny Green sure has come a long way from his days in New York. From the "Big Apple," UNC, the Cavaliers, the D-League to the Spurs, he sure has grown into a solid NBA player and contributor for one of the league's premier franchises.
And even then, Green almost didn't come back to the Spurs heading into last season. Fortunately,...
I think it is safe to say San Antonio Spurs' Stephen Jackson will have plenty of sneakers to last through the apocalypse, and beyond.
Basketball players are notorious for owning extensive collections of sneakers but Spurs' Jackson just took it to another level. And by "another level," I mean he might own every Air Jordan known to mankind.
Check out these...
There is no doubt San Antonio Spurs' Stephen Jackson is clutch especially when it comes to nailing key three-point shots. Ask the Mavericks how deadly Jackson can be in the playoffs in 2003.
For his career, Jackson shoots 33% from behind the arch and last season he connected on 30% of his three-point shots for San Antonio. So knowing Jackson's proficiency at hitting...
When San Antonio Spurs' Stehpen Jackson is not adding to his personal moutain-sized collection of Air Jordans, he is in his hometown of Port Arthur, TX putting on his Academy Basketball Camp for area kids.
And if the following video shows anything is that he is just as passionate as a coach and a player.
Jackson, who also is the head coach of the camp, must have learned...
The 2012-13 season for the San Antonio Spurs is creeping up fast but last season provided many memories, good and bad.
The Spurs had one of their most successful runs in the regular season but came apart in the Western Conference Finals. But that loss to the Thunder in the WCF shouldn't overshadow the best plays from last season.
Check out the top plays from the 2012...
Losing has different effects on different people. For some, the taste of defeat is enough to make you give up and quit, but for those who consider themselves competitors, losing just makes you work even harder.
San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili has to have a bad taste in his mouth after failing to medal with his fellow Argentinians at the 2012 Olympics in London. They fought...
Gersson Rosas had been on the short list of the San Antonio Spurs for their assistant general manager vacancy that eventually went to Scott Layden.
This video is weird. Tony Parker is at a charity event for his best friend Boris Diaw and sees an opportunity to be, well, charitable.
There’s a kid trying to shoot a halfcourt shot for a prize, which turns out to be a watch. Thing is, the kid is like 10 and can’t physically shoot a halfcourt shot. In comes Tony, ready to save the day and take the shot for the kid, and makes...
Boris Diaw of the San Antonio Spurs held a Charity Game and French national teammates Tony Parker, Nicolas Batum & Ronny Turiaf all participated in the event. Speaking of Parker, he also hit a half-court shot during the game winning a watch for a boy in the process. Enjoy!
For some reason perhaps known only to them, the brilliant comedy minds over at the NOC, the same folks behind the brilliant Steve Nash movie parody videos, believed it would be gripping to watch San Antonio Spurs player Stephen Jackson eating fried ribs and slow motion. And do you know what? They were absolutely correct. [...]
ESPN the Magazine released their Ultimate Team Rankings and once again, the San Antonio Spurs rank among the top three teams among all major American sports.
The Spurs came in third overall behind the NFL's Green Bay Packers (2nd overall) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (first overall). Actually, the Spurs and Thunder are the top two teams in the NBA in the list.
Manu Ginobili may continue playing for Argentina.
