Reserve guard Von Wafer will not play tonight after not making the trip to Milwaukee with the team. Wafer, who left Fridays’s game with a calf injury, will be sidelined for at least a week with a strained calf muscle.
Said Wafer: “I feel alright, just a little sore, I’ll be out for a few days… I think I just sprained a muscle, that’s all.”
Wafer’s play has been sporadic on the season averaging 2.9 points, .8 rebounds, .5 assists and 11.7 minutes in 53 games played on the season.
Expect to see Sasha Pavlovic and Avery Bradley subbing for starters Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen as they represent the only healthy guards suiting up tonight.
