Golden State Warriors leading scorer Monta Ellis suffered a hyperextended knee in Friday's 23-point loss at Oklahoma City. Ellis was hurt in the final minute of the third quarter. He had 11 points at the time of the injury. The team said he could have returned, but there was no need to with the Warriors getting steamrolled. Golden State plays at Memphis on Saturday. Ellis is averagering 21.5 points on the season, but he has scored a total of 21 points in the last two games.
