The Golden State Warriors won a tiebreaker drawing with the Toronto Raptors on Friday for the No. 7 slot in the NBA draft lottery. The Warriors and Raptors tied for the seventh-worst record in the NBA this season at 23-43. Landing the seventh position in the lottery helps the Warriors’ chances of getting one of the top seven picks in the NBA draft. If the Warriors end up picking eight or lower in the draft, they’ll lose their first-round spot to the Utah Jazz because of a previous trade. The draft lottery will be held May 30 and the NBA draft is June 28.
