With all the roster moves New York has made in recent years, it's almost at the point where you can't watch an NBA game without seeing a former Knick.

So that got me thinking, who would be the best fit to come back to the team? Here are the stipulations: had to be on the team in the past ten years. We are talking about the players they are now, not when they played for the team.

I put together a list of top 15 in my opinion.

PG: Chris Duhon, Nate Robinson
SG: Jamal Crawford, Tracy McGrady
SF: Trevor Ariza, Matt Barnes, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari
PF: Channing Frye, David Lee, Zach Randolph, Al Harrington
C: Nazr Mohammed, Marcus Camby, Timofey Mozgov
Other notables: Eddie House, Kurt Thomas, Sergio Rodriguez

After looking at all the names, it's actually a pretty tough decision IMHO. The big names that jump out are obviously Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford. But I don't think either fits with this team. We have our scoring locked up already. Then there is Camby. But his age and health are issues.

Assuming we go hard after Dalembert, I'm going to say I'd like either Ariza, Barnes, or Chandler for versatility and defensive purposes. We will clearly need a defender to deal with Wade/James because it's going to be NY vs. MIA for years to come.

If I could put one guy back on the team, I would pick Chandler. I think he would give the team the most.
