The Washington Wizards have had a rough start to the season, to say the least. Point guard John Wall has battled a number of injuries so far in this short season. He has already dealt with a hip injury, back spams, and last night was poked in the eye during the third quarter against the San Antonio Spurs. Al Harrington of the Spurs helped John Wall up after backup Jeff Ayers came down hard and accidentally poked Wall in the right eye, knocking him to the floor, on an attempted offensive rebound. As he made his way to the bench, Wall yelled to the official, “How is that not a foul?” Beat writer Michael Lee of the Washington Post tweeted that coach Randy Wittman was making the call to pull Wall during a physical game.
