When Chris Mullin gave Andris Biedrins a six-year, $54 million contract in 2008, Beidrins was a near-double-double-a-night player who was only in his early 20s. He looked like he was going to be worth it.
He turned out not to be worth it.
The injuries started up. Don Nelson left. And, as he devolved from starter to bench warmer, Biedrins inexplicably never returned to the form of...
Andris Biedrins will exercise his player option and return to the Golden State Warriors next season for the final year on his 6 year/$54 million contract. He will make $9 million in 2013-14. Biedrins averaged .5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game in 2012-13. He played just

As previously noted on That NBA Lottery Pick, Golden State Warriors center Andris Biedrins isn't a great free-throw shooter.Back on Friday against Chicago, Andris provided us with another memorable miss as the below second free-throw attempt got nothing but net:(Courtesy of @CJZero and Minus Twenty-Two)
Look, we all know Andris Biedrins never has nor never will set the world ablaze with his foul shooting. But something about his latest attempt at shooting free throws not totally embarrassing himself at the free throw line just strikes us as amazing. For a split second it looks as if this one is going to miss everything. Luckily it didn’t and still got a piece of the net. Chalk...
Big men have always had trouble with free throws, and Golden State Warriors center Andris Biedrins is no exception.
Suffice to say it was an interesting weekend for the 7-foot, Latvian-born 26-year-old. On Friday night against the Lakers, Biedrins somehow managed to not only miss a free throw, but miss the basket entirely, airballing the attempt by a good foot.

Things don’t seem to be going all too well for big man Andris Biedrins.
The 7 footer on the Warriors reportedly owes $20,000 in taxes in his native Latvia. This shouldn’t seem like a huge deal; he made $9 million last season, and will make another $9 million this upcoming season. So he can pay the bill. The problem?
This comes with a possibility of 5 years of jail time.
Something tells me that Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson is shaking his head but wanting to give his center, Andris Biedrins a high five after pictures surfaced online of him having fun with his friends and a female companion. We included one pic that isn’t overly racy, but it appears that he is receiving oral sex in he backseat of a car, while his red solo cup takes...
