Derrick Favors to the Suns?

Tony Jones, reporter for The Salt Lake Tribune, recently reported that the Utah Jazz have put Derrick Favors on the trading block with the Phoenix Suns expressing interest in the big man. Jones does describe the possibility of trading Favors however as “less likely” than Utah trading for Lou Williams, another popular rumor today. Although, Utah has entertained offers for...

Lucas Nogueira drops shorts during Derrick Favors free throw attempt (Video)

Derrick Favors attempted a free throw during quite a distraction on Thursday. In the third quarter of the game between the Raptors and Jazz, Favors drew a foul on Toronto big man Lucas Nogueira. As Favors was getting ready to shoot the first of two free throws, Nogueira dropped his shorts around his knees and tucked his jersey back in. Intentional distraction or not, it worked.

At one point, their uniforms were designed with a mountain range even as they kept the Jazz as the team name. The team hasn’t had any superstar players...

Utah Jazz: Derrick Favors proving his worth

Back in October, the Utah Jazz and fourth year power forward Derrick Favors agreed to a four-year contract extension that could pay the young big man upwards of 50 million dollars. Starting center Derrick Favors and reserve forward Jeremy Evans missed Utah's matchup against Toronto on Monday night. Favors' injured hip kept him out for the fourth time in five games. Without Favors in the lineup, the Jazz have lost all five games this season, including two earlier because of a sore back. Favors averages 13.5 points and 9.3 rebounds and anchors Utah's defensive...
