JAMES ANDERSON RUMORS

James Anderson has opted out

James Anderson has decided to opt out and test free agency. The salary cap is skyrocketing and Anderson wants some action. Will he get any? That will soon be determined. I don’t believe he did enough to earn a longer contract and more money, which is why I thought he would opt in but you have to love his confidence. You never know. He finished the season averaging 3.5 points per...

Robert Covington's Long-Term, Two-Way Fit For Philadelphia

With Sam Hinkie crafting and reshuffling a roster to fit his long-term vision, he has found a few fresh apples in the orchard he's trying to build. Filling Mr. Anderson’s Shoes

On Monday the 76ers announced that Sam Hinkie had decided to waive shooting guard James Anderson bringing an end to his predictable time in a Sixers uniform.  The Sixers claimed Anderson off of waivers on July 16, 2013 and at the time he was hailed as an undervalued talent who owned a lethal jumper from deep.  Most of that turned out to be false. Anderson appeared in 80 games...

James Anderson couldn’t hang with Kevin Durant

Philadelphia’s James Anderson put on an impressive performance Saturday night, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to stop NBA stud Kevin Durant. Durant was 12 for 17 from the floor and 1 of 4 from three-point range. His 32 points were one point above his season average and his 10th straight game with 30 or more points. With Durant’s numbers being so impressive, Anderson’s...

Top 5 Moments of the First 15 Games

The 76ers are now 15 games into the 2013-14 season and to say it has been a roller coaster ride is an understatement. A 3-0 start that included a home opening win over Miami and a thrilling 3-point victory over Chicago, was followed by losses in 8 of the next 10 games. Memorable offensive performances by Spencer Hawes, Michael Carter Williams and James Anderson have been countered...
