BOSTON- Celtics forward/center Jermaine O’Neal underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left wrist on Friday. The surgery was described by the team as “successful.”
This places O’Neal on the shelf for the duration of the season as the Celtics fight with the Philadelphia 76ers for the Atlantic Division crown. The team is currently 7th overall in the Eastern Conference.
