Luke Jackson Introduced as New Coach
EUGENE, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced during an afternoon press conference on Wednesday that former NBA and University of Oregon basketball player Luke Jackson has been named the tenth Head Coach for the Beacon Men’s Basketball program.

Jackson Joins Tulane Class
Tulane has established secure footing in the LaPlace/Reserve area of Louisiana. The Green Wave signed two prospects from that area of the River Parishes this year, and head coach Curtis Johnson and his staff have two pledges from there in the '13 class. Today, Tulane got a verbal from St. Charles Catholic LB Luke Jackson, who helped the Comets to a 15-0 season and the 3A state title in 2011.

The University of Oregon mens basketball team (20-8, 11-5) will host Colorado (19-9, 11-5) and Utah (6-22, 3-13) this week at Matthew Knight Arena.
