By now the story of Danny Berger, the Utah State basketball player who collapsed at practice Wednesday, going into cardiac arrest.
Berger has been slowly upgraded over the last two days, and is currently listed as in “fair” condition, and is undergoing tests. However, if it weren’t for current German basketball player Ryan Gomes, Berger might now be here.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Clippers have waived forward Ryan Gomes using the NBA's amnesty provision.
He averaged 2.3 points and 13.3 minutes in 32 games last season in a diminished role on the team.
Gomes was in his second season with the Clippers after previously playing for Minnesota and Boston.
