Cavaliers Assign Sergey Karasev, Scotty Hopson To D-League

The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned guard/forward Sergey Karasev and guard Scotty Hopson to the Canton Charge of the NBA D-League. Karasev has appeared in 18 games for the Charge with averages of 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.0 minutes per game. Hopson was signed to a contract by the Cavs on March 31 and has appeared in one game for Cleveland this season.

Karasev, Hopson assigned to Canton

The Cavaliers announced Sunday they have assigned Sergey Karasev and Scotty Hopson to their NBA Development League team, the Canton Charge. Karasev, a guard/forward, has appeared in 18 games for the Charge and averaged 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while the recently signed Hopson, a guard from Tennessee, has appeared in one game for the Cavaliers this season.
