The Czech Republic defeated Georgia 95-79 in EuroBasket 2013 Pool Play on Sunday.
Jan Vesely had 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Tomas Satoransky had 20 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
Georgia was led by Giorgi Shermadini's 18 points and nine rebounds.

In last summer’s NBA draft, the Washington Wizards used their number 32 overall pick to select Tomas Satoransky, a 6’7” point guard from the Czech Republic. At the time, the pick was somewhat of a head-scratcher. Let me start this out by saying as some of you know, I am not the biggest Ernie Grunfeld supporter.
I will however be the first to point out that I actually like a majority of the most recent moves the GM has made on essentially his 3rd team building exercise here in Washington.
This Wizards roster has gone from seeing Nick Young, JaVale McGee, and Andray Blatche starting day one...
Tomas Satoransky has played on the Wizards' Summer League team, but is expected to remain in Europe for the 12-13 season.
