Through the first 18 weeks of the 2013-14 NBA season, we’ve yet to feature Will Barton as the Portland Trail Blazers‘ player of the week. Kindly put, he’s yet to earn an opportunity in the rotation, but his recent production is noteworthy with the playoffs right around...
The Brooklyn Nets simply embarrassed themselves in their lone visit to the Rose City, plummeted by the Portland Trail Blazers 124-80 Wednesday night.
Portland (40-18) had a ton of guys step up but no one made such a memorable impact than Will Barton, who had career-highs of 20 points, 11 rebounds to go with and three assists in 28 minutes. His energy was contagious and those finishes...
Portland Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez danced on the floor celebrating a Will Barton slam dunk finish on an alley oop during the second quarter of Wednesday night's game against Brooklyn. It was that kind of night for the Blazers, who wore the Portland nickname "Rip City" on the front of their jerseys. It was almost as if the Nets didn't show up for the game...

Will Barton hasn’t been great so far in his short-lived two-year career with the Trail Blazers, but he’s certainly one of the most athletic players to come out of college in recent years. The former Memphis star must be learning something from Damian Lillard, a dunk competition participant for the West this year, as he threw down a 360 dunk on Friday night against the Jazz.
The Portland Trailblazers are out of the playoffs. That did not stop Will Barton from having a career night against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.
Barton double-doubled with 22 points, 13 rebounds and six assists coming off the bench.

There is no denying that the Blazers are not a deep team and that they lack the needed talent to seriously contend for a championship this season. With that said, the silver lining to this problem is that young players like Will Barton are getting opportunities...
I was probably not the only person surprised on Draft night when Will Barton wasn't selected in the first round, as he slid all the way to 40th pick, where he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers. Averaging 18.0 points and 8.0 rebounds a game his sophomore season, Barton also has above average length and solid athleticism/quickness that should translate well in the NBA...
BLAZING A TRAIL
When Team Baltimore’s Best faced off against Team Under Armour in Baltimore this week familiar names to hoops fans like Brandon Jennings, Kemba Walker, Derrick Williams, and DeAndre Jordan were on the floor. But it was the 40th overall selection in this year’s draft by the Portland Trail Blazers who stole the show as the Baltimore [...]

You may not yet be familiar with Will Barton (or maybe you watch college basketball, I don’t know), the 40th overall pick of the Portland Trail Blazers, but the man has had himself a couple of moments this summer.
Back in Vegas, balling alongside SL Co-MVP Damian Lillard, Barton averaged 15 points in 5 games and 4 starts for a Blazers team that went 4-1. He exploded for a combined...
