Atlanta’s Matt Ryan has more overall experience, but San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick is clearly...
While much will be written about the 49ers young quarterback Colin Kaepernick, backup quarterback Alex Smith is the lone man out in San Francisco. And just think, it was only last year that Smith had them within a few minutes of going to the Super Bowl himself. The Atlanta Falcons were playing with house money. The monkey was off the Falcons back after barely beating the Seahawks last week. The Falcons were up 17 points and it looked like the home team had found a way to keep the 49ers highly ranked defense at bay. The Falcons defense was doing a great job containing Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense.
