So how long have we waited? We, the tried and true, die-hard fans of the Detroit Lions have waited forever. Humiliation after humiliation. Loss after lopsided loss. For the first time since 12-23-2007 the Detroit Lions won a regular season NFL game. While the beat the hapless Washington Redskins, this was an important win for this team, city, and organization. Now the ghost of an 0-16 season can be put to rest, and the current Lions head office and Coaching Staff can remake the Lions into something besides perennial losers.
