Giant's Pierce Better Than Urlacher and Trotter?

Is the Giant's linebacker Antonio Pierce better than Urlacher and Trotter? Pierce certainly believes he is. His exact quote was, "I don't think you see Urlacher and Trotter cover receivers...You see 'em cover T.O. any time soon? I don't care if I was close or not, I was playing him." So basically what he is saying is the fact that he takes on TO inherently makes him better...interesting.

Pierce is really good. Urlacher is overrated. I wouldn't exactly take Antonio Pierce as the ultimate source for who is the best linebacker in the NFC. But who is the best linebacker in the NFL?

No question he's one of the top linebackers in the league, and deserving of the perennial pro-bowler spot, he's just overhyped mostly because he's a white player with an interesting personality at a premier position.

I would assume making tackles is a large piece of the job, and I think Mr. Pierce falls short of perfection here.
