The Mets absolutely need to add another bat. They have 3 championship caliber offensive players, another who may or may not be a potent force (Delgado) and that is it. Church had a terrific beginning to the season but we have no idea how he will respond to his injury and he had never been consistently productive before (the Nats had been desperate for him to claim a regular job for 2+ years and he was unable to do so).
