Kansas City coach Andy Reid has been to more than one rodeo and he knows it’s one step at a time. Before laying his eyes on the regular season, he has to finish up the task at hand, evaluating players and getting down to the 53 man roster.
"We’re just getting ready for the Packers and everybody is getting ready to play," coach Reid said, via Reid Ferrin of KCChiefs.com.
"We haven’t made any decisions on who’s playing and who is not playing. Everybody got opportunities today for us to take a look at them, and that’s how we’re going to go about it and we’ll figure it out from that point.”
"I’ve done it all different ways," coach Reid said. "I’ve sat the ones, I’ve played the ones for a series, for a quarter, I’ve done it all. The main thing you want to do though on this is to make sure with the guys that are remaining on this team, that you get a good evaluation of the players, so at the end of this thing, you’re making the right moves that you feel are right for the Chiefs. I’m not going to let that get in the way. I’m going to make sure we get that accomplished the best that we can.”

The continuation of the story has been that the Chiefs...
The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their worst season in franchise history and new head coach Andy Reid had the worst season of his 14-year head-coaching career last year, but you wouldn’t know it with the way that optimism has been running high as of late in KC after the additions throughout the offseason on both sides of the ball. Did you ever see the movie the Big Lebowski? In the beginning actor, Sam Elliot sits at the bar and narrates a story about the 'The Dude'. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's the Dude, in Los Angeles. The dude I'm talking about is from Kansas City and we know his as Mike Catapano.

Here we go again. When news spread Monday afternoon that Chiefs Tight End, Tony Moeaki, fractured his shoulder, one has to wonder if we’ve seen the last of the former Iowa Hawkeye in a KC uniform.
It’s seemingly one injury after another for Kansas City
Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki, and this preseason has proven no different. Head
coach Andy Reid told reporters – including Randy Covitz of The Kansas City Star
– yesterday that Moeaki suffered a fractured shoulder during Saturday night’s preseason
contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At this point, Reid said...

It was incredible, said Kansas City Chiefs rookie center Eric Kush standing in the visitors lockerroom at Heinz Field preparing his travel bag. Kush grew up 25 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and played his college football at Cal. Not California University, but Cal (PA) a quick hour south from the steel city. People I haven't seen in six years yelling 'Ku...
The question wasn't even fully asked before Eric Berry shut it down.
''I'm not talking about last year,'' the Pro Bowl safety said.
Doesn't matter whether the query had to do with the 14 losses that the Kansas City Chiefs endured in 2012, or the countless off-the-field distractions. Heck, it could've been about some trivial issue such as the length...
Not only did one Kansas City fan deem it necessary to score some Chiefs ink, but to include a barb for the Oakland Raiders in the process.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Everything that John Dorsey has done to mold the Kansas City Chiefs since becoming their general manager in January has been influenced by a career spent with the Green Bay Packers.
Fighting for jobs on special teams honed his blue-collar work ethic. His attention to detail was no doubt shaped by coaches such as Mike Holmgren. Longtime front-office executives...
