For the second consecutive game, wide receiver Dez Bryant has got off to a quick start, before going silent in the second half. Against the Lions in week four, he quickly caught three passes for 37 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, which is where his production would stop; ditto for the New England game, in which Bryant grabbed four catches for 78 yards in the first half, before disappearing from the stat sheet in the second.
Over the four second halves Bryant has played this season, he has just two catches for 50 yards.
"You have to understand who we have on this offense," Bryant told reporters after Sunday’s loss, per the Dallas Morning News. "We have a lot of great players. Each and every last one of us can make plays. Whenever our number is called on, we just have to do our job. That's it."
