Dallas Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer is still recovering from a knee injury and will sit out Sunday's game vs. the rival New York Giants.
He's not officially listed as out, but doubtful is doubtful. Earlier in the offseason, Spencer appeared to be on the mend, but aggravated his injury in the pre-camp conditioning test, ungoing arthroscopic surgery July 25th.
He missed Friday's last practice before Sunday's game with swelling in the knee.
Per the Associated Press: ' Assuming Spencer doesn't play, George Selvie will make his first career start after signing early in camp. Backup defensive end Ben Bass injured a shoulder in practice this week and will miss the opener. Running back Lance Dunbar (sprained foot) and safety Danny McCray (hamstring) also are out. '
