Cornback Asante Samuel makes his return to Philadelphia this weekend, and he thinks that, for all he's done for fans during the four years he was an Eagle, he deserves a warm welcome.
What does he think he is, some sort of Super Bowl Hero? He very well could've been just that, albeit for another team, the New England Patriots.
Samuel dropped a game clinching interception in the final series of Super Bowl XLII against the Giants. Then he proceeded to "Get Paid" as his tattoo denotes, by the Eagles. The team trade him to Atlanta in the offseason.
Samuel told reporters in the locker room Thursday, “I’ve got a lot of personality issues”...“They better cheer for me,”
“They’re going to cheer for me or we’re going to have a problem right there in Lincoln Financial Stadium. All y’all fans, all I did for y’all, y’all better cheer for me.”
“It’s not any game, I’m going back home; It’ll be exciting. They’ll be happy to see me. Everybody gonna cheer for m

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham indicated that the team firing coach Juan Castillo was a necessary move based on some of his in-game coaching strategies.
As if Coach Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles did not have enough on their plate for their upcoming game against the NFL's only undefeated team. The 6-0 Atlanta Falcons boast a high powered offense with elite players all over the field. Besides worrying about the Falcons offense the Eagles will have mother nature to worry about. Brandon Graham better buck up or shut up.
He threw former Eagles coordinator Juan Castillo under the bus, which I commend him for, but he seems more like Freddy Mitchell than Terrell Owens when he said what he said.
“I think we started running the same stuff over and over and not switching it up as much,” Graham told CSNPhilly.com. “A lot of time we ran the same coverage, stuff...
This week is going to be, to put it mildly, interesting.
The Eagles are coming off a bye week in which Andy Reid replaced his DC and there are widespread rumors of problems in the entire front office.
The Falcons, also coming off a bye, are the only remaining undefeated team.
Andy Reid has never lost the game the week after the bye, including the infamously disastrous 2005 season...
Linebacker Casey Matthews hinted at what he thought of Juan Castillo’s coaching when he summed up the first meeting of the Philadelphia Eagle defense in the Todd Bowles era on Monday: “We’re not going to be predictable anymore.”
Brandon Graham took those comments further on Wednesday by blaming Castillo for the Eagles defensive woes in the games of which he presided. Graham...

It's been a story of two seasons between the Falcons and the Eagles. While the Falcons have reached new heights and claim the NFL's only undefeated record left this season, the Eagles are once again sputtering to find a rhythm and make their Superbowl dreams a reality.Come Sunday though, we will truly find out if the Eagles will finally get it together and if the Falcons are...
