For those who have been living under a rock for the past eight weeks, the defending Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers are the NFL’s only undefeated team. Coming in to this week’s matchup with the San Diego Chargers, the Packers are at the point in the 2011 season where every opposing team wants to be the one to slay the giant. While undefeated, the Packers will now face two opponents on a weekly basis – The team on the other side of the field and the mounting pressure of their record. Statistically, Green Bay has been far from perfect this season; however the only stat that matters at this point in the year is the number in the win column. In that respect it’s hard to argue with what Green Bay has done on the field. Defensively, Green Bay stops the run with the best in the league. Offensively, Aaron Rodgers has elevated himself to Brady-Esque status, and his 323 passing yards a game are more than enough to make up for the Packers 31st ranked pass defense.
