By Mike McDermottPlaying with nothing to lose, the Buffalo Bills have used some trickery to take an early 7-0 lead over the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Buffalo drove 80 yards on eight plays with the opening drive, a drive that the Bills kept alive by successfully running a fake punt on 4th and 1 from the Buffalo 43. The Bills called a direct snap to strong safety George Wilson, who picked up six yards. On the next play, Patriots cornerback Antwaun Molden was called for a 47-yard pass interference penalty. Buffalo scored the touchdown two plays later on a 4-yard run by Tashard Choice.
Safety Patrick Chung, who has not played since Nov. 6 against the New York Giants, is back in action for the Patriots. He made his presence felt early with a huge hit on Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson, which set up the fourth down play and fake punt.
