The Dallas Cowboys are making a change on defense. Monte Kiffin has been installed as the Cowboys defensive coordinator and the team is transitioning to a 4-3 defense.
While talking to Ben & Skin on 105.3 Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr said that his teammates are responding well the to change.
“Guys are definitely buying. We’re just trying to create a different mentality around there. It’s all about just everybody hustling and being committed, all 11 out there on the field meeting at one time. If we’re forcing the issue, we’re talking about turnovers. That was a major problem for us last year. But this year, I feel we’ve got the guys that kind of believe and now that we see it, the proof is in the pudding with this defense that we can go out there and make the same plays.”
Carr was supportive of Kiffin’s defense a weeks ago saying it allowed him to be the corner he wanted to be. He did not back down from those comments on the radio show.
