San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs looks like he’s ready to make his season debut this week after being out since the preseason with a knee injury. “I’m ready to play, it’s all gone now.” According to Kevin Lynch of the San Francisco Chronicle, Jacobs “was running 60-yard dashes full bore on Tuesday in triple-degree heat.”  This is certainly a sign that he’s ready to go. With Jacobs likely coming back this week, look for him to take some short yardage carries away from Frank Gore.
