With the Denver Broncos just a little more than a week away from training camp, Chris Harris Jr. is looking forward to returning to his team after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in 2013, reports Jeff Legwold of ESPN. The Broncos expect nothing less than a trip to the Super Bowl and the team will need every player healthy to do so.John Leyba/Getty ImagesHarris Jr. had this to say about his team waiting for training camp:The main thing right now is everybody has so much time on their hands, so just stay in shape and stay out of the news. That’s just something I’ve been trying to keep tabs on guys, lead by example, just come in with a clean slate and no bad stories before we get there.Harris Jr. was injured in the divisional round of the 2013 NFL Playoffs against the Chargers.  This offseason has been full of recovery and rehab for the Broncos undrafted corner.  Harris, as he said last month, confirmed Friday he expects to be cleared for full participation halfway through the preseason, reports Jeff Legwold of ESPN.  That's the plan, assuming Harris will be cleared by his doctor, Dr. James Andrews, after an upcoming visit.  The Broncos hope to have Harris at 100 percent as soon as possible to add to their new secondary they acquired in the offseason.  The Broncos report to training camp July 23, expect Harris Jr. to be limited until late August, about midway through the preseason.Like what you're reading?
