The Denver Broncos medical staff is being precautionary with cornerback Tracy Porter after he suffered a seizure in August.   Before the Broncos left for San Diego last Sunday, Porter experienced the same symptoms he had before his seizure in August - light-headed and a racing heart.   The Broncos medical staff decided to keep Porter in Denver and miss the Monday night game against the Chargers.   "I had never had one before, 26 years I've been living," Porter told Mike Klis of The Denver Post. "Before the San Diego game, I don't know if it was the medication I was taking or it was a setback, but they decided to hold me back." Porter missed Thursday's workout because of a doctor's appointment that he hoped would lead to being cleared to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.   "I want to play," Porter said. "Who wouldn't want to play against their old team? All I can do is cross my fingers and toes that everything clears out, everything checks out and I'll be able to play Sunday night." Porter and the Broncos medical staff are still unsure why he suffered the seizure, which happened between the Broncos; first and second preseason games.  "We don't know if it was a supplement I was taking... energy drinks. Or whatever could have caused it," said Porter. Broncos head coach John Fox told The Denver Post that Porter will be back on the field once he is cleared and the team knows how to handle the illness. "Right now, Tracy is being evaluated," Fox said. "When he's cleared to physically be able to practice, he'll be out there. I don't know all the symptoms. When we figure out how to deal with the illness, then he'll be out here." (Photo courtesy: Justin Edmonds/Getty Images)
